Title: First real go at a bit of detailing

My car has only ever seen a bucket, mit and at most some posh shampoo. So after shelling out for a decent set of wheels I thort I'm gunna have to look after them, especially as there diamond cut too, so I bort some chemical guys wheel guard (what do you pros think of this stuff) and here are my results. I should of got some before pic's really as the wheels were fecking Filfy

Shouldn't do if you keep on top of them. I often just wash my wheels in between washes and it seems to do the trick.

They will be if you don't keep on top of the washes and keep up the protection,
Layer up your protection and wash them on a regular basis and you'll be fine,
If they are staying on the car during winter the above is even more important due to salt being used on the roads.

Nice rims btw! Look nice on the mk3.

 Yh I'm gunna try n keep on top of them, think I'm gunna wash them in between full washes too. Yh I've got a set of winter wheels coz my car gets covered in sh!te in the winter ona daily basis.

THIS! One terribly dirty arch  :laugh:

Good protection will keep them easy to clean. Every 5/6months give them a proper good clean with some de ironizer and de taring products :afro:

Don't worry washed the rest of the car today. No pics tho sorry
