Title: popped driveshaft

my mates mk2 1.6 has a popped driveshaft. he went over a bump and out it popped :laugh:

he warned me about lowering a mk2 on big rims and said its common for the shafts to pop out.

how easy is it to fix and is it common? :rolleyes:

its only one of the cv joints thats gone mate, my old blue 8v popped one, it had been clicking for a day or 2 before it happened... not expensive i think it was about £24 from europarts......
