Title: Strange turbo noise

Recently my turbo is making like a hoover noise at the moment and i've noticed it's down on power. The boost pressure is down by 7 psi than it used to be and it's not spooling up any where quick as it used to. I've checked the pipes and all seem good (found one that was split but that's been replaced) Could it be a dodgy actuator?

Could be actuator, but I'd scan it first too see what faults it throws up, that will give a rough idea what it could be.

Yeah did it scan it, it chucked up an intermittent cylinder misfire, the code reason says it could be something to do with the air intake system...
