Title: 1.6 gearbox on a 8v gti engine?

Could I use a mk3 1.6 020 gearbox on a mk3 gti 8v engine using a gti clutch and flywheel?


I know the ratios will be different but want to conferm it would fit, Is I recently fitted a mk3 gti box on a mk2 1.8 no gti lump
