Title: Car radio help (warning French car :o)
Post by: jnufcuk on 20 June 2012, 20:00
Evening

Got a bit of a problem with my mums 2000 Clio radio.

Years ago I put in a aftermarket one, then the plan was to put old one back in. Got it all wired up, radio came on but keeps beeping. Think problem is I need to enter code however the little display doesn't light up so no way of entering a code :undecided:

So don't know what to do now, bloody car radios, something always has to go wrong

In my old Peugeots you would have to go to a dealer and they can reset it. A lot of hassle for something so stupid

I know on the some French stuff you got to hold down a button to start to enter the code, check on the Internet with what radio it is , You didn't have to swap the wires over red and yellow when you stuck in the aftermarket one ?
