Also saw Haywire recently and that was worth a watch. Winters Bone if you want something different, My Week With Marilyn, but just go on IMDB and check reviews and trailers.

Safe is a typical Statham film. He doesn't say too much, shoots a few people and beats up a lot of people without getting a scratch. Utterly unbelievable, stupid plot and ridiculous stunts. Unscrew your brain & enjoy as it's still good fun.

Please please please whatever you do, DON'T watch Battleship.  :lipsrsealed:

Watched a film called, The Kill List , last night. Is a British made horror/crime film.

Is very very random with some really graphic violence in too.

rihanna made it well worth it

Rihanna in Battlesh!t was just a jumped-up Private Vasquez wannabe with terrible lines and zero acting ability (so she fitted in perfectly then...) Stick to the singing, love.

Plus I don't get that she's supposed to be hot - I think she looks like a pug...  :lipsrsealed:

Going to watch Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter on Monday. Looks utterly bonkers. It "might" be better than Battlesh!t...
Title: Re: films
Post by: golf-sib on 21 June 2012, 22:38
That vampire hunter does look good. Sadly not many good films coming out nowadays, apparently they are meant to be working on a new chronicles of riddick sequel. However I did enjoy the three muskteers even if the script was terrible, along with sherlock holmes 2 :afro:

Only thing I am really looking forward to is the new season of futurama that starts today!

You smell that? Do you smell that? Napalm, son. Nothing else in the world smells like that. I love the smell of napalm in the morning. You know, one time we had a hill bombed, for twelve hours. When it was all over I walked up. We didn't find one of 'em, not one stinkin' dink body. The smell, you know that gasoline smell, the whole hill. Smelled like … victory. Someday this war's gonna end.
