Title: Black Mirrors on Silver Golfs. Opinions?

Both my wing mirror cases are cracked on the car. Was wondering if it would make the car stand out a bit more if I changed them for Lupo type but in Black? What do you think mod or not?

with a black grill and a black roof might look alright but alone i think they will look like your ones have cracked and you could only find the replacement in black  :wink:  :lipsrsealed:

I think the lupo mirrors look out of proportion on a 4. Perfect excuse for you to pick up some Anniversary mirrors. I'd leave them silver though, and just a black grill if you haven't done it already  :wink:

id leave them silver to but as said if you do other bits to tie it in it can look really good

I have anni mirrors and i sprayed them the same colour as my wheels ....... It looks sh!te imo keep them silver

I had black grille and mirrors for a short while but so many people said it looked like that I had fitted base spec mirrors I gave up and went back to silver.

Each to their own. I am some where in the middle. My bro sprayed his up satin...I feel they would look better in gloss. They keep growing on me each time I see them  :laugh:

i carbon wrapped a spare grill i bought on the week end fitted it and a few ppl like it but it wasnt for me so came off

Thanks - food for thought...Going off the idea of Lupo mirrors having looked at one in the car park LOL

Yes, I would really like to fit Anni mirrors but as usual i'm also worried about the Scene Tax Hike.
So I will just go for replacement Silver Caps to smarten my car up and then wait and source Anni's if i can get some for a good price. :smiley:

keep ot silver all the way i agree will look low spec'd otherwise,
or do you want the sleeper look to surprise a few people.... :smiley:

keep it the same, I know cars with different colour bonnet, roof and rear are in - saw a Range Rover Cosworth with it and looked  :sick:
