Title: Any VAG OE exhausts that fit Mk2 GTI?

Just wondering? I'm looking for a standard (quiet) exhaust. There don't seem to be too many about, and I'd like one with a single pipe if possible. Are there any other stock exhausts that'll fit?

most gti came with twin tail pipes ,think a 1.8 driver might fit or 1 from a td as they are the same diameter.
ps got a complete exhaust from a mk2 gti with twin pipes if you get stuck . :grin: :wink: :smiley:

complete system for £80.00 been on the car a few months still got the stickers on it can send you pic's .... :grin: :wink: :smiley:

According to ETKA there is really only the backbox that is available from VW - I bought a twinpipe back box and it sounds sweet. But was not cheap.

If its just the backbox your worried about, you may as well just get pattern parts for the rest of the exhaust, then you can get pretty much any backbox you like provided it has the same diameter inlet. Just check out the mounting points as I'm sure they could be adapted slightly if needed too.
