Title: ARB on lowering?

Is it true that after 40mm lowering on the mk4's i'll need to change the ARB?
What kind of ARB am i going to be needing?  :rolleyes:

You should be ok with a 40mm drop. Anything more and you will need to changed ARB  :smiley:

mine was fine at 40mm mate but anything more i think you would need to change the arb  :wink:

Goof stuff!! Havn't got the cash right not to spend on an ARB too so might just put it down on 40mm springs!  :evil:

FTW. I have some eibach springs and bilstein B4 shocks for sale...Cough cough. Yours for £250 posted...

Haha if only i had that amount to spend  :rolleyes: going to put the springs over standard shocks for the time being  :evil: coilovers later in the year

Depends on the car really. i think some gtis may have been fitted with the anni arb.

mines lowered -80 all round and no rubbing. only time it has rubbed is when it was -120mm :D and that was only on very very very full lock (i.e. the last inch of turn in the steering wheel)

well my mate had an anni and he was able to lower his well over 100 with the standard arb... think there was only a few turns of the coilovers left. mine i can go just over 100 i think with no arb rub, just a bit impractical for were i live...

not sure then...  :grin:

as said earlier in the thread at 40mm drop you shouldnt have any problems just as long as everything is in order like bushes etc  :wink:
