Title: Opinions on alloy wheels
Post by: seanb on 18 June 2012, 09:49
Recently purchased a mk3 gti 3 door and it has the standard gti alloys with it. I had some bbs splits on my mk3 vr6 which i really liked, but Im looking for some other options that will cause me the least hassle.
The car has been lowered on springs, but I am looking for adjustable coil overs. Standard size is 15", just wondered if a 17" has been fitted with not to much bother...........

Thanks Sean

17" can be tight for clearance, 16" is the best choice really.

Depends on the drop. 40mm N it's doable. More N you need to stay with 16s or look at more work. rims wise, I quite like RS6 flat 5 spokes or TT Comps.
