Title: RCD 300 issue

Hi,
I've just bought a '06 plate mk5 Golf GTI and I am having problems with the RCD300 radio.
I have good FM reception, but no AM reception. It simply scans all the time, but does not pick up any stations.
I have run a test by holding down the menu button and it says that ANT1 is 'OFF' and ANT2 is 'ON'.
Signal strength shows as 'POOR'.
I've read that there are 2 aerials in the car, but I'm don't know how to acesss either.

Any ideas on how to turn ANT 1 on and would this help solve the problem?

hi there im pretty sure the fm transmitter is built into the back windows its the lines that go down not across
