found some 13's going dirt cheap, cars lowered 55mm, how cack would this look or would it be well low?
just an idea, no mocking!

Depends how big your speedbumps are!
When I first put coilovers on it was so low the inner arch was sat on the tyre now thats low!!!!!!!!

wheels are 6j x 13, how small a tyre could i get on there?

4 rubber bands should do it! just remember the lower the profile the worse the ride and more chance of sqauring ur wheel on potholes etc but the better it looks! find somewhere in between usually personal preference.

the only down side to small rims it small brakes!!!!!!!!!
i was looking to at 13"s for my mk1 im planning but i need big brakes so its phat 15"s 4 me.
but i love the 13"s look.....go 4 it :evil:

they were BBS RA's same as i've got now but small, all had decent tyres and they went for £41 for the set! whils i was at work the auction ended :cry:

Sound like G40 alloys, would have looked a bit strange to be honest so don't beat yourself up over it!
You need to go wide to carry off small diameters, and one thing G40 wheels aint is wide.
