Title: GOLF MK4 STUTTERING

hey dubbers, my golf mk4 2.0 gti has started to "stutter" now & again but the problem goes away when I floor it just wondered if anyone on here had the same problem & or know what it could be before I take it too the garage .. cheers

Could be a number of things lambda sensor, MAF....

I've had the lamba sensor go on my previous golf but it never stuttered like this, its weird it goes away when i floor it

try cleaning your throttle body

i had the same issue with my 1.8 gti cleaned my throttle body and problem solved

yup cleaned my throttle body 2 days ago & voila! problem solved
