Doh, wrong section. Can Admin move this to the MK5 section

Hey Guys, my folks want a TDI to tow a caravan & asked me about buying my car (Golf Mk5 GT 170 TDI)  Not sure when though

So i'm might get a mk5 GTI, seen this in the dealers not that far from me

http://www.volkswagen.co.uk (Stockport)
£10,983
Registration: MT08GVW Date registered: May 2008
Diamond BlackInterior colour:
BlackInterior material: Vienna Leather
Mileage: 36,052 miles *
No of doors: 3

Seems a little high, to me.  Though it's dealer price.  I would really like a sunroof too, as my GT has one.

Anyone seen any good deals for GTI's in the North West area.  Been told to wait for the Number plate change, as I might be able o get a cheaper trade-in?

What to do..  I do like my TDI, but part of me wants to go back to a GTI

James

This is how I always see these situations.

The only reason someone gets a GT over the GTI is they either cant afford a GTI or do too many miles and need the MPG of the diesel. The GTI goes faster, makes a nice sound and looks better. In short its simply a better car.

If you can afford it and are in the situation to get a GTI over your diesel GT then do it. I would also not be paying £11k for that car (FYI your link isnt working)
