Title: Roof Bars

I have been looking for roof bars for the mk3 and some ads I have seen on ebay say 3dr and some say 5dr. 

Does anyone know if the roofs are different between the 3dr and 5dr as the bars connect via the roof gutters and I can't image this being different between the 2 bodystyles?

By the way the bars I have seen are Votex genuine vw ones
