Title: 24 heures du Mans 2013
Post by: Horney on 15 June 2012, 11:33
Made the decsion that I need to lose my Lemans cheery so 2013 me and Mrs H are heading over for the weekend. We're going to buy Pistonheads tickets that include all travel and a pitch in their private campsite.

Anyone fancy having a mini Golf gti campsite on their pitch and joining us? It's not cheap at about £300 per person + fuel, beer and petrol so I thought a years notice would be good for those that are interested!

Sounds great but I'm planning on doing the Irish cannonball run next year.

We went with Speed Chills Private Camping this year and i cant recommend them highly enough. Toilets were spotless all weekend and beer was ice cold. Food was also superb.

Went with a group of Golf R's off the forum. We'll probably be down there in 2013 too.

I did 2006 and 2007.

If you have a camper you don't need camping.  Parking Blanc is great - just behind the start finish line.  Site toilets are generally clean through the weekend - it's not like it's the first time they've done this.

I was looking at planning a trip for 2013 with a few mates all of which have golfs so an even larger convoy of golfs sounds even better to me!
