abit of a long shot to save a friend some cash. they have a 2002 1.6 golf, the sticker on the timing cover says AZD so ill believe that.
basically whilst driving, you accelerate and the engine hesitates, its starting doing it more now, it feels to me like an ignition coil packing up. Its got no warnings on the dash and other than this fault drives fine. is there anything else i can check before he has to take it somewhere and spend loads of £££££
the mileage is around 80k

fixed,was a coil breaking down under load, £21 later for a bosch coil and its sorted
