Title: Monza Shadows
Post by: Joseph on 13 June 2012, 15:47
hi,

I had my wheels replaced due to whiteworm. How visible are the fine lines (concentric circles) on your monza shadow alloys?

Mine seem more visible on this set. Is this just production and all are different? I have to get up close and use the light but I can see the way they have been machined. Should this be so visible?.

Thanks

Have they been replaced with a brand new set or just refurbished by the dealer?

I asked that too, they told me they are brand new.

A pic of yours would be useful.

A pic of one of mine as below.

I think that is the diamond cut you are referring to.
I can see this on my Vancouver alloys that are diamond cut but only when down and personal with them

The charleston on cab are the same. I wouldn't worry too much as its just the finish that those style of rims have.

When mine are nice and clean you can see the circles quite clearly, i quite like it tbh.

You can actually feel the ridges if you run your finger over them if the wheel is clean.
