As above, but my insurance have sent out an independent assessor to give a value of the van, which I am not too happy about, as they have come up with a price about £1000 less than I wanted. What can I do about it as I am not claiming off of my policy i am claiming off of the other party who has admitted liabillity. I am really confused about the whole thing as there are currently five different companies involved.
Also, Should a Cat C write off be advised on the V5? as I'm sure that my old car had something on the V5 to say that it was a Cat 5 after it was written off and I had it fixed?
Any help/guidance appreciated

tell them your not happy with £1000 as you can't get a t4 (Double check on ebay) with the same miles/age/engine for £1000 so you feel at a lose cos someone crashed into you i did that with a rover 25 i had they offered £800 and i kicked off and they then gave me £1200 try it the worse they can say is no
