Howdo, I swear Ive read on here a few people that have wmi that have also installed an led that comes on when the wmi is activated via boost. My problem is, is that I cant find the bloody topic
So would anyone be kind enough to guide me on how to wire up an led so it comes on when the pump activates?
Sorry electrics arent my strong point :lipsrsealed:
many thanks

id also like to no this as ive just picked up a WMI kit up for mega cheap.
-
if the controller sends a +ve signal to the pump it's easy enough to do, you'd just have to install an LED in line on that cable and mount it somewhere
My controller has a few LEDs on it anyways

I went for the poor man option which is the manual adjusted boost control solenoid :( but I guess even that must have a +ve signal to operate the pump!?

have any of you got any pics where you mounted the nozzle as im tempted to make a throttle body spacer with a WMI dual port.

Use the vacuum one on the top of throttle body? RIP the stupid charcoal canister out and use that nipple ;)
-
just deleted my charcoal canister (easy enough) but does that 90 degree nipple on top of the throttle body can that be screwed out or does it have to be chopped off and re-tapped?
