Title: First Dslr... Dust on sensor?
Post by: BJD on 11 June 2012, 20:48
I ordered my first dslr online last week, Canon 500D. While i was waiting on it coming i decided to study some "beginner guides" and "how to' etc.

It arrived today, so... first thing i done was read the manual. Battery charged, memory card etc... While putting the lens on i pointed the camera down so dust couldn't fall onto the sensor?

Took a few test shots.....

Is the black dot dust on the sensor? Its in the same position on every photo.

Comments and advice please

Is it easy to do yourself or can you cause damage? Any tips?
