Just watching a live update on MacRumors and saw they are releasing a new MacBook Pro line which is 0.74" thick (about as thin as an Air) and has a Retina Display and weighs less than 5lbs! Oh yeah and it's still a 15.4" display!

old news old boy
apparently no optical drive either.. Boo hoo... leave all that to the AIR!!!!

It was rumoured but no-one knew final specs.

theirs been quite a lot on the net last couple of weeks. especially the size of it.. not keen on that idea TBH... the current Pro is perfect size and weight, i find the Air a bit too thin and light however on the other hand will be a good DJ tool
Think ill hang on till next year tho for the next release as my current one is a 2012 model

Best thing, is the new display on the MBP's.
Worst thing, leaving the iPad1 out of the iOS6 updates. oh and no updates to the iMac or Mac Pro range.
Stupidest thing, (http://www.guardian.co.uk/global/blog/2012/jun/11/apple-wwdc-2012-ios-6-live-coverage#block-4) combined USB3 and USB 2 ports "That's not how we do it." USB 3 and USB 2 will be the same port. Which has been done for some time by others, just with blue plastic to let you know it's USB 3 capable. Big whoop Apple. In fact that's going against the "Look at me, I have something you don't" Apple mentality
Getting Siri to start Apps is no biggie, other voice recognition apps have been doing that for yonks.
Mostly incremental updates, biggest surprised was the Retina Display.

The new MacBook Pro looks pretty awesome though. Would like to see the retina display in person.
Maps looks good too!

Maps is OK, wonder if you'll need a data connection for the turn-by-turn navigation ? Google announced a few days ago that they're updating maps to not need a data connection for navigation and also the ability to install 100 countries maps on your device for navigation  Their Maps is more to do with taking your mapping information and Mapping/Navigation data usage away from Google.

The new macbook pro looks wicked a lot of power in a small case!! care if other laptops that are cheaper can do it none of them look and feel as good!!! I will be ordering it in a couple of mths
-
Thing is though, the new MBP with Retina starts at 1700 I think it is.. all the other MBPs are without.
If anyone's watched the WWDC video, I loved the Siri intro! Geeky, cheesy humour. ba dum tish!

First tear down of the new MBP

You need a 4s to use the turn by turn navigation :(

Impressed with the new macbook, not impressed with how its built/how it has you completley locked down as to what you can do with it. The main two things that people chop and change all the time RAM and SSD's. So lets solder the ram in so the jerks have to fork out a retarded amount of cash for some more MB's. Then... why the hell not, lets not use any standard for our ssd's too - That'l really piss people off!
Damn it apple - your quite capable of making the simple things so easy, why do this!
-
£££'s  One thing is Apple have never done is do what people wanted, they do what they want and screw you if you don't like it. Even using other company's trademarked names (iOS, iPhone etc). Do things now, worry about the consequences later.
