Which DERV do you have? I don't think you can do the G60 on all of the diesels. Plus you will probs want to stick with DMF other wise your engine will rattle your face off :smiley:
-
Only applies to the dervs with 5 speed boxes
6 speed spend big if you want big power otherwise a standard clutch will easily cope with a Stage 1 map :smiley:

iv just been offerd a sach clutch that has done less than 1000 miles £40 ?off a asz ? and then i can put this on my dual mass ?

Just an OEM clutch? What car do you have? If your is ASZ then yes it will fit...but you maybe taking a risk fitting a 2nd hand clutch :undecided:

true its money thats the prob at the mo if its not one thing its the other mine is a asv so im guessing it will fit ok ?
-
ASZ = 6 speed
ASV = 5 speed

ah i feel like a tit now lol i will have a look on there site now :~)

what about the g60 / vr6 clutch combo ?
-
you guys think this is a good option ?
-
Diesels are meant to be noisy on idle with a SMF. I think southbend do a kit but theyre really expensive.
-
I would stick with the DMF flywheel on a diesel.

they vibrate and make a racket. go on you tube and look them up.
