Title: s3 parts ??

iv been offerd a s3 subframe and cast alloy wishbones along with tt stearing rack ? are these mods worth doing and what should the parts cost ?

also where can i get a rear anti roll bar from and is it worth doing ?

I think it you get it all as a oner then it would be good yes. The cast wishbones require the hub it came off, ie you cannot fit it to the ones you have at the mo I believe. People say the quick rack steering racks are a good one to do...

At a guess £125 tops?  :undecided:

Find one one on gaybay, classifieds. Well worth it. A noticeable difference. I plumbed in my eibach front and rear arbs a month back and oh my days  :smiley: :smug:

iv got the sub frame and cast wish bones £60 im not sure about the rack yet

you don't need the hubs  :wink:

You'll definitely need the ARB and if you want to use the S3 drop link setup you will need the shocks too

unless of course you've got the wishbones with the mount for the standard Golf drop links?

no i dont have the shocks but i def want to use the wishbones

you'll need the shocks too then mate, if you use the S3 wishbones the standard drop links will have nowhere to bolt to so you will need to use the S3 versions which bolt to the shock

Got any pics of the parts your looking at?

not at the mo im going to go see him tomorrow .. my prob is if i fit s3 shocks what can i fit to the back that will not mess up the feel of the car ?
its a estate and i hate it handeling loose need to make it sharp but i dont want to lower it as i have by 30mm and already smashed a sump ??
