Title: GTI MK5-New owner!
Post by: Peppermuncher on 09 June 2012, 00:57
Howdy ladies and gents, just picked up my 56 plate GTI today.

Tornado Red
18" Monza ll Alloys
Xenon Lights, auto level, auto blah blah,
Electric folding heated mirrors
Duel air con
Sat Nav
2 Doors
Proper retro tartan seats.

Picked it up for £9600. Only 30k miles on the clock, full dealer history. Perfect body work.

The whole car is amazing, smooth and powerful, amazing gear box, suspension just perfect. Goes like a $%*& off a shovel also managed to put the grey pants on a get 42mpg out of it.  :nerd: A real feel of quality throughout the car.

Came from a Leon mk2, the step up in quality is miles.   :smug:

I get a good feeling from this baby, i'll try get some pics up when i can, thinking about body coding the rear bumper and maybe gloss blacking the very bottom "diffuser" part to match the front!!!

Yeah, I came from Seat (back) to VW and as you say there's a world of difference in the quality.

Welcome to the nut house!(http://www.websmileys.com/sm/fingers/fing31.gif)

Sounds like a very tidy motor, and at 30k on the clock its practically brand new...the folding mirrors must be one of the best features I have on mine too...

I personally don't see many MK5 advertised with them so you've done well to find'em...get those pics up soon pal.
