Post by: lemski on 08 June 2012, 19:24

With the 1.8t there are 2 flanges available either 100mm or 108mm, if its 100mm all is well mk3 shafts vbolt up. if 108mm then you need to swap the shafts for early 02j or 02a. there are 2 types of flage bolt in and clip in just need to get the right type

What u mean clip or bolt. If it helps its bolts up as mk3s do, but has m10 heads instead of m8

Two type of flanges I think ones is plastic one is metal the metal type should be bolt so when you order one for that box mention its a bolt type! But we need to defo find out total length of the drive shaft to confirm its 100mm type?
