does anybody know if saab wheels will fit on the same adaptors that vauxhall will fit on? i have found some wheel for a saab that i think would look nuts on a slammed mk3. and want to no if it will be a ball ache trying to fit them

well seeing as i have a gti wich is 5 stud i thought it was obvious i was talking about the 5 stud ones :rolleyes:
saab are 5x110 and so are vauxhall. not sure if the centre bore is the same though.

Not all vauxhalls are that . They changed with the recent stuff :lipsrsealed:
Even dealers are getting caught out :laugh:
And have gOne from bolts to nuts . Again wheels aren't interchangeable
But hey. What would i know :rolleyes:

saaab is 65.1 centre bore so just get adapters made 5x100 to 5x110 and get spigot rings too.
Et of the wheels is roughly the same as a mk3 so should be fine there.

This question came up on another forum and the view was that Saab was the same cb as Vauxhall (56.1), most wheel guides list Vectra C as 65.1 but they are also 56.1

My dad runs saab wheels on his vectra b.centrebore needs milling out 1mm to fit a 57.1 vw but unsure on what the centrebore would be on the adapters so check first

ah what a fcuker. just messaged the seller and he only has this one wheel. he dont have a set :cry:

ok after going through loads of saab wheels on ebay iv been having ago at photoshopping a couple as im getting abit bteer at it. not great yet tho :grin:
im really liking the saab rims out there and suprised nobody els has used them

1st one maybe (not sure if they are available in 5 stud), 2nd one looks horrid.

I've had 2 saabs an love em, & the reason i didnt fit the wheels to my mk3 was that the wheels didnt suit it.... even the later 9-3 bbs, which were very similar to the longbeach but 16"

yeah these are the ones i like the most due to them being deep dish aswell. think they are 5 stud. hope they are. they are called super aeros i think

i think the offset is about ET41 so with the adaptors say 20mm will give me an offset of about ET21 so perfect to sit flush with the arches.

The ebay link you posted was for the old 9000 (which was 4 stud), only later Saabs were 5 stud and not all were 5x110.

Saab 900 (nuo 1992 m.): 5 x 110
Saab 9000: 4 x 108
Saab 9-3: 5 x 110
Saab 9-5: 5 x 110
900 87 to 93: 4x108
900 / 9-3 87 to 93: 4x108
9000 87 to 98: 4x108
New Alfa Romeos (Bera, 159 and 166 have also gone over to 5x110 as well)

Most only be the late ones as all the guides I looked at only show 4x108

Well looking at that list all 5 stud saabs are 5x110 so I will make sure I get the 5 stud ones. Bloke round the corner from me has them wheels on some huge Saab turbo thing he has and they are 5 stud. Same as the ones in that gumtree add they are also 5 stud so they must do them.

i see what you mean wayne, had a lil google myself & 5x110 for a 9000 is not listed, i wonder if my running gear was changed when abbott racing did some some work to it before i bought it, i assuemed this was the norm as i rarely did any work to it, it went back to abbots in manningtree....
God i miss that car, i could pull 4-5 car lengths on an R32 on the motorway, useless in the twisties, but did she pull...... :grin:
