Title: newbie with mk4 gti needs help

hello from ireland i just bought my first golf gti yesterday.when i test drove the car it was in a big car park everything seemed fine but after i paid the person and was out on the open road i noticed under acceleration the car pulls fairly heavy to the left any ideas. ive browsed through and searched the forum but couldnt find anything although i did find a lot of useful info any help greatly appreciated cheers conor.

If its pulling to either the left or right that normally points to the traction...get it re-aligned and see how if feels...

cheers lads. i did think the tracking first but it pulls when accelerating surely if it was the tracking it would be pulling all the time.

No not necessarily, I had a 58plate swift which had its tracking put out and the only time it wud pull to the left was when I hit a slight bump in the road....

It cost me £25 to sort the traction out...
