Are they Genuine VW lights? Ive heard it a real b!tch to seperate them!
-
im having the same problem, got some sh!tty lights for £20 so i thought if i fail its not the end of the world. And yes, i've failed. Glue wont melt! You'll have to smash the glass off!
-
Yep, easiest way is buy 2 sets.
Smash the glass off one, then the plastic back off the other.
But you would probably end up spending the same as anni lights anyway
-
sharp knife??
or is the glass recessed? :embarassed:
-
Anniversary headlights are well over a ton, you'd spend about £40 making a set so I know what I'd do
Use gloss black if you want the anni look mate. Also make sure you prep everything properly or it will peel off. Mine are still going strong after a few years of use
-
Lad you lot are a great bunch thank you for the advise and all, and yes they are the originals, but I don't want to break the glass as those 1's in Poland on eBay take to long to get here :( so I'm just going to have to leave it for now :( and once again thanks lads!!
