new and old..
how should the top plate sit? the car is lowered on coilovers.
not my photos.. should they be sat quite low like the 2nd photo once the mounts have been replaced or..?

mines on coils and they sit quite high like the first pic i was worried when i first seen it but its been fine :smiley:

I changed mine at the weekend the was about a cm gap now nothing :)

yours have settled down since? will have to wait and see!
and yeah, it drives fine, i just thought they were supposed to sit without a gap.

They are rubber and will be taking the weight of that corner of the vehicle so will flex and give under the weight. You can get solid top mount bushes, they will eliinate any play/flex/give and will not have any gap between the strut turret and what would have been the top cap
