look i want... want to look nice - not chav... definitely needs lowering but with the amount of speedbumps i face at college and work it needs to be sensible for now....
any idea of wheels sizes and suitable drops for a 1.6 driver? your thought r much appreciated... just wanna see what people have done... if u could send me pics and tell me what you've got... i just ned to get ideas!!!!

Ummed and Ahhed for ages over this- was short of cash but wanted something VW, so went for the Sebrings. Have not regretted it. Refurbed them myself as they were a bit banged about, but for £35 I couldn't complain. They come up on fleebay regularly, and VW still sell the centre caps. Only 15" so no probs on rough roads as long as you stick to the 195/55 tyres. Personally, I think they really suit the car. Cue torrent of abuse...

i quite like sebrings
han, if that were my car, i would buff up them steelies and respray em
-
I would also rub the steelies down, respray the outer part of rim bright silver and spray the inner black, with a high gloss lacquer finish.
Would look really smart with a lowered car, hardly cost a penny, and if you kept the car looking really claen it wouldn't look like a chav.
You could even do the same thing on those 14" BBS alloys if you wanted.

I got these bad boys off a guy on here for £50 including 4 pretty good tires:-

Ok so they are not the best looking alloys on a MKII but for the money they were good and as they're 7jx15" and running 205/50 R15 tires it grips like it's on rails.

Second hand ATS 'cups' polished or sprayed bright silver if you can't be ar*ed to polish them and a 40/60mm drop.

i can't keep my steelies... one of them has a real bad flat spot on it...
as for ideas they all look so cool... now i can't decide... need something cheap and fast!!!

BBS RA's are your best bet then. £100 per set on flea gay some even with tyres.
