Hi there i have a question hopefully somebody will be able to answer. I have an '85 1.8 8v k jet golf (pictures now in new members) and i just bought the throttle body below on the understanding that it was a 2.2 audi throttle body that i was going to fit to my engine. But after taking it to my car and measuring the butterflys they are both the same size @ 51mm on the throttle body fitted to my car and the one i have just bought. The only differances are the one i bought comes as two pieces with an electrical connection for what i take to be for a TPS and nowhere for vacuum hoses to connect. Where as the on the one already fitted it is one piece and has two small vacuum hoses on one side and one large hose connected the otherside next to the bulkhead. Hopefully the pictures will come up below for the one i just bought. Then someone can say if it is an audi 2.2 throttle body or just a 1.8 16v throttle body. The number on the front section that the airbox hose connects to has the VW and AUDI symbols followed by 027 133 070 KTS 1-1. Then on the body itself is the symbols again plus a circle with OVG? in it and the numbers B7 302 827 027M. Hopefully someone will be able to know what the numbers are. here are the pics of it.
