about Volkswagen scrapping the R32 and replacing it with the R34 or R36??? anyone heard the same???  :shocked:

speculation at the moment, although it is sounding more and more likely so far. I know porsche had a barny as they were stuck with the old R32 engine for the cayenne, where as VW were sticking R34s in the tourag.

there were rumours of a R36 mk5 a year ago...

The R36 was shown at the geneva motor show, but VW said that by the time it goes on sale it will more than likely be back to a 3.2
