Interesting that they say: This vehicle is no 0001 of UK models (with VW letter of authenticity) and not necessarily the first off the production line for worldwide Edition 30 production.

So I wonder how many were made before  :undecided:

I believe the plaques (and numbers) were assigned to cars as they were sold, rather than as they were built. First one sold to a customer got number 1.
