ok... when u open the front doors on a five door, there is an indentation i think it's two bumps, if u sit on the drivers seat and look to your right it will be about eyelevel... what the he11 are they???? it's been puzzling me since i got the car.

hope some genius/clever clogs boffin can help....  :undecided:

not too why, they are there on a 3 door too. think it might be something to do with structural integrity rather than something to do with the door itself.

SIP would have to consist of bars going across the inside of the door though mate.

I think the dents are to provide a minimalistic spring like action if the car was to ever end up on its roof. (believe me its possible  :embarassed:) basically its a half figure of 8 chopped down the middle on the B pillar, as i said as far as i am aware it provides a structural "strong point" on the safety cage around the driver.
