just picked car up from getting cambelt and water pump done, car not boosting up hardly if not at all, if you drive then put foot down it bogs down then goes but dont boost up
getting code
16490/P0106/000262 - Manifold / Barometric Pressure Sensor (G71) / (F96): Implausible Signal
and
16621/P0237/000567 - Manifold Pressure / Boost Sensor (G31): Signal too Low
any ideas whats caused or causing this and how to fix?

What engine you got dude?

its AUQ 180

I would make sure all the sensors are plugged in, could be. Possibility that the timing is out but I'm cant see that not letting it boost.
-
Dropped car back of at garage and they say it's a sensor or something under washer or coolant bottle forgot which they said now????
-
Map sensor on manifold Apprently
-
MAP sensor sits on the intercooler under the washer bottle
-
Any reason why this has gone since water pump and cambelt was done? Was fine before apart from overheating
-
They probably broke a wire to the sensor when they removed stuff to do cambelt. Implausable signal means little or no signal so suggest it was damaged in the process.
-
Is it more there fault then dont want to be paying out for a new map sensor if it's there fault
-
Would it just go like that as it was fine day I dropped it of or is it more likely the wirring on it?
-
had map sensor changed, running abit better but still not boosting up fully and still hesitates some times when you put foot down or change gear. also it was backfiring few times on drive home???? could this be timming out?
-
Sounds very much like it yes. Seems coincidental that its straight after a cambelt change
