Title: MKV GTI break size vs. ED35?
Post by: GlennQuagmire on 02 June 2012, 17:24
Hi,

Does the ED35 have the same break sizes as the MKV GTI? Im trying to figure out if my 16" winter wheels from the MKV GTI will fit on the ED35.

Thanks :)

The ED35 is a MK6 with an older engine so any wheels that fit the MK6 will fit the ED35.

And as the MK6 is a tarted up MK5, the answer to your question is YES.

Not if it has golf R / R32 / cupra / s3 based brakes it won't.
But I suspect the edition 35 like the edition 30 has the standard GTI brakes.

The ED35 doesn't have big brakes, it's the same as the standard GTI.
