I like it mate, it's much better than the standard.

Cheers mate. I had planned on doing exactly that tonight but the weather has turned a bit grim so I might do it in the morning and then I'll get some more pics.

Not sure really. If you mean colour coding it then yes but not sure about non metallic?

It looks nice but seems a bit daft unless your going to get the sills done as well, now nothing matches?

Do you mean apart from the mirror caps, front end and the fact it ties nicely in with the 90% rear tints?

I had a riduculous quote of £800 to do my rear diffuser, wind mirror covers and sill strips in gloss black. That was in Windsor though

Supplying dealer £120 inc vat. Had the car for two days stating it was for the flattening process of the primer etc. I'm really happy with it.

Thanks for all of the positive comments! The car will be on the club stand at GTi international on the Saturday.

Hi.
My first post !

I have a GTi on candy white ordered and should collect it onm September 1st.

I have to say I really like the black diffuser, it looks so much better than the grey plastic.
I intend to have the side skirts sprayed white but I am also considering spraying the diffuse in white too.  Has anyone sprayed the diffuser in white ?
can anyone maybe photshop a pic.  I think white would look smart but wonder if if would look too much...........  I am not too worried about possible colour change from the exhaust smoke as I tend to keep my cars immaculate......

I think if you do them in white you'll lose the shape of the car a bit.  You'd also have to careful that the whites match or it would look weird.

Never seen anyone do it on here before.

Welcome to the forums btw.

Personally I really like the black diffuser.  Was thinking about having it sprayed white but will get it done in black with the side skirts in white (can't understand why they aren't white anyway).

Car arrives towards end of July with a collection on September 1st.  I wonder if the dealership bodyworkshop would give a price so that it would be done upon collection.............

If you spray the side skirts white they will lose the sporty look they give over the base models IMO.

hows about vinyl wrapping it?

less chance of stone chips etc and when your bored of it you just peel it off. prob much cheaper than painting it too.

i want to wrap the front spoiler gloss black as it looks a bit awkward body coloured IMO.

Same here, just doesn't look right in white for me, hoping it will achieve a similar look to the ED30's when they have been done
