Title: 1.8T AUM running crap!
Post by: craig4004 on 31 May 2012, 15:25
Everytime i take the car to around 3-4k revs, when I get to traffic, the car just wants to stall and ticks over at about 400rpm. EM light said Bank 1 running rich and loss of pressure between throttle and turbo. Seems to be intermittent as I'm driving like an OAP to stop it from doing it. Anyone know what this could be? Cheers

Just driven home listening carefully and could hear some popping from the exhaust. Still running sh!te, barely ticking over at 4-500rpm and very hesitant on acceleration. What is the PCV system? Will try and check for boost leak tonight.

I had this the other week on my aum, it was one of my intercooler pipes that had popped off (i'm running a fmic). it was the one before the throttle body on mine. had same problems as you, popping out exhaust and unable to drive on boost.
