well i wanted a GTTDI but this GTI came up at a price that i couldnt say no to

Coilovers
a few interior bits
New windscreen
full service
cambelt change
repair the sill

What do you lot think

Also what mods would you recommend doing Im looking at Bora vents but apart from that i dunno

the rubber pipe from the trottle body to the maf has been cut not sure why but i am going to get a new pipe when i go to the scrapyard next also the list isnt in order

the sill is first to do
then a full service inc cambelt change
then a windscreen
then tax
then mot
then coilover
then other little bits
then bbs alloys

hopefully

looks fine...shame that the sill has been bodged before.

im tempted to but its growing on me i had a turbo passat last year and it used to drink fuel like it was going out of fashion about 25 mpg per week was the best i got i currectly get 34.7 out of this gti

well i had a letter off my insurance today and fort oh sh#t this cant be good and they have made a error working out my months payments was £56.98 a month its now £39.15 a month bargain lol.


just need to sort out a few bits then its mot time :'(

Update time:

well over the last week i have started to mod the Golf

Started with LED bulbs all round

Then put HIDs in the front fog lights and the dipped beam need to get some super bright bulbs for the high beam

Popped my JDM mini disc/ipod player in the car (Sounds 1000% better then the Gamma HU)

Also de-badged the rear of the car (i no the golf can still be seen but its raining and i gave up thats a job for tomorrow)

Engine bay cleaned

new windscreen is being fitted tomorrow
Sill being fixed friday
Then mot next monday (Fingers crossed)(and have to take all LEDs and HIDs out)
then full service inc cambelt end of month
