"New power steering rack fitted to match the weight and size of the new alloys."

was lookin for a new car for mrs bobbie and came across this.... any thoughts on the Steering rack waffle?  Never herd of people changing them to accomodate bigger rims?

Sounds like complete twaddle to me, all mk4 steering racks were the same, only the Leon Cupra R, TT and S3 had a quicker ratio rack.

No need to change it - as Wayne says Anniversary's run 18" wheels with the same rack as standard

well thats got r32 wheels on doesent it? and doesent the r32 use the same steering rack as the gti...
