"New power steering rack fitted to match the weight and size of the new alloys."
was lookin for a new car for mrs bobbie and came across this.... any thoughts on the Steering rack waffle? Never herd of people changing them to accomodate bigger rims?
-
never heard of it.
-
Sounds like complete twaddle to me, all mk4 steering racks were the same, only the Leon Cupra R, TT and S3 had a quicker ratio rack.
-
Lol. If everyone had that way of thinking then wouldn't we all have changed ours by now! What tosh!
Good find though
-
No need to change it - as Wayne says Anniversary's run 18" wheels with the same rack as standard
-
well thats got r32 wheels on doesent it? and doesent the r32 use the same steering rack as the gti...
-
The R32's got a quicker rack
-
