Title: lg optimus 3d / android phone broke

woke up this morning and my phone was saying it was 00:00 oclock turned it off after a hour or so and back on and now the time has now gone like this:

note the time on the weather part is different to the time in the top corner

i keep getting texts, it comes up on the top ribbon saying i have a text, i swipe it down it says i have a text of bla bla and has the usual first few words preveiw, however when i open up the text the text doesent appear and it just shows the last message i received off them x amount of days ago.

if i go on somethiing like the twitter app or facebook app etc it doesent connect to the internet, however i can go on the internet browser and go on twitter or here or what ever (which is why i had to take a physical photo instead of print screen it cause i cant use any apps to put it on somewere to host it i.e imageshack or facebook)

also it is saying i have 2 unread messages from yesterday, both messages i have read. but it wownt change them to unread.....

anyone had the same problem before? how did you fix it. dont really want to do a factory reset cause i have all sorts of pics, videos, contacts ect ect ect on there and its going to be a right pain in the arse moving everything over to 2 or so memory cards and everything. but really annoying, i must have received texts off about 10 different people today and havent been able to read any of them.

its easy to drag and drop files to a PC with it plugged in to usb? i simply pulled my pics and videos over, took a couple of mins. or in my case i can use the official kies thing that comes from samsung to do a  backup

Contacts id save them all to sim?

i think they are like little PC's it doesnt hurt starting a fresh every once in a while

hmm well the clocks have changed back to the right time now. and ive just received a text around 10 mins ago so may have sorted its self out  :grin: will have to see

it started receiving and sending texts again last night randomly. :D
