Got a Jetex full system on mine, sounds great, crisp, but not too noisey, in fact not noisy at all

I bought my 8v just after it had a bosal oem equivalent system fitted (vw no longer make the exhaust) and I hated the tone and volume of it.  I did loads of research and settled on the jetex stainless steel system (the quiter resonated one) which I am very happy with.

I've just had VW Heritages newsletter to confirm OEM style stainless steel boxes are available....

Yeah mine was an OEM style which looked nice but sounded horrible.

I quite like the idea of putting a full system on inc manifold, not sure I want the skinned knuckles and high blood pressure.

Haha full system and manifold yes doin it with the engine in I'd rather not. Shearing the studs not seeing what ure doin and droppin things dwn the back of ure engine isn't fun

As I thought then,  I don't really need extra noise but a little bit more power is always nice
