Title: quick question!

Need an ecu for my golf as its fried! i have a 1992 or 1993 vr6 with coilpack with the ecu code 021 906 258 AF
i have found one 021 906 258 F from a coilpack golf just wondering if this will be compatable

Should be as long as they are both coilpack ECUs.
I assume your car is pre-immobiliser?

its got an imobiliser but its one of the ones where i put a dangly thing into it does this matter?

just relaised it was a typo on the ad, the ecu numbers match so can i just plug and play ?

On an early car like yours yes should fit and work fine :smiley:

yay ! can you have a look at my two previous vr6 problem posts and tell me if you think a non fried ecu would solve them?
