Title: engine mounts + gearbox mount

My engine shakes like a b!tch and i can hear a rattle from the rear of the engine. Its deffo an engine mount that is f**ked.
engine is digifant 8v

Gonna replace them all anyway but can i use 16v or G60 mounts?
what mounts are better?

any tips on replacing the gearbox and rear engine mount? heard its a b!tch of a job.

Just get solid rubber mounts all round, will do the trick!  The gearbox one you want is a solid rubber one from a 1.3 or 16v motor.
There is an uprated late 16v/G60 rear mount you can get, but it costs alot more than a solid rubber one.  You also have to unbolt the bracket from the subframe to make it fit too.
