Ok so i'm due a service and will be doing it myself to save a few bob so what oil and spark plugs should i get? i have a 2001 1.8t.thanks in advance Chambo

Oil: http://www.vwspares.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=1354 not sure how many miles is on your car but you may also want to check / replace the oil pick up pipe.

Plug wise NGK is a good choice.
