Title: question about hub assemblies
Post by: Cory on 27 May 2012, 10:24
are the 16v bearing carriers for mk2's the same as mk3's?
posing the question - could you fit 4x100 hubs to mk3 16v bearing carriers for a brake upgrade?

NO you need sub frame and wishbones all of it!
If it was that easy I would have done it so many times by now

I would say clearance the Mk3 is wider so using OEM sub frames and drive shafts would cause major clearance issues?

maybe. still cant imagine there being alot of difference after comparing the two on screen. would be interesting to have the two next to each other. shame but oh well
