Title: Dump valve chatter

Hi, i recently purchesed a 007p dv for my mk4 anni and i was woundering how i could make it chatter or do i need a different vale? Thanks

i thought it was the wastegate that chatters and not the dump valve?

It will chatter if it isn't working properly, as the chatter sound is the pressurised air is going the wrong way thru the turbo and it's the fins chopping the air and stalling..... No good for the turbo!!!!

Something along those lines anyway  :rolleyes:

Chatter is basically the turbo stallling.

I think if you fit the 007p the wrong way round or something along those lines it makes the chattering sound, and they cone filter does help it alot.

just changed from a forge splitter dump valve to a 007p (reverse mounted) the noise wasn't much different on both until i changed the induction kit back to the standard airbox setup, now i don't hear a peep out of it
