Title: New coilovers, replace topmount too?
Post by: JoelBu on 26 May 2012, 10:53
Just ordered some new coilovers,

Is it worth changing the top mounts too?? And any other parts???

Or is just the coilovers on their own ok for a straight swap???

depends on how worn they are.

my rear top mounts were fine, however my front top mounts were frigged so for the sake of 20 quid i replaced them(trade price)

+1. If they have never been replaced you will see the difference is night and day!

yepp think my rears had been replaced before  i bought the car cause they were still looking new, fronts however, when i put the coilover on i could wobble the coilover a good 3"  from left to right, maybe more  :lipsrsealed:
