tried a search on here but the page doesnt exist anymore.... just want to know what insurance group my golf gti is ... its a colour concept if that makes a difference!?!

umm guessing tht is 14 under the old 1-20 will it be around 30 in the 1-50...

Insurance groups do not seem to matter as much these days, mine is 31 in the new groups :shocked:

true..im just wondering if a new car im looking at is lower insurance than the golf.... its not looking good lol

Yeah I don't take much notice, my last car was an RS Clio 172 which is group 31, I was 18 when I had that and insurance was cheaper than my mate on a 1 litre polo.... Same no claims, lives over the road lol insurance is a lottery tbh

I bought the 8v as a cheap run around and the insurance was comparable to a focus 1.6 so im not sure how much insurance groups really matter

doesnt a lot of it depend on where you live ,ie the postcode .As some areas are considered more prone to car theft than others
